The Sharon Classic
Every once in a while, our quiet town is transformed - the August craft fair is one such day, and so is the first Saturday in May, with the annual Sharon Classic Road Race. It's a fundraiser for the Sharon Day Care Center, and runners from all around the region come to compete in the five mile race. Many, many more pictures, including of me after finishing (not a pretty sight!) are on display here.

Well done for finishing, I would have been there at the finishing line cheering you on, beer in hand!!
By the way really loved the gravestone photo.
Lots of lovely shots at the other blog. Feels like I'm there . My fave has to be the guy who is doing his gardening :)

Wow, it seems you all had great time. I have been through your pictures. Everything is so green, the kids running on the grass, the landscape scenes...it must be wonderful being in a race like this.
