School's Out!
Yesterday was the last day for most schools around here, and they got out at 1pm. So everyone ended up at the beach. We moms sat around talking about teachers, home improvements, summer plans, and the like, while the kids made sand castles, splashed arounds, and found something very interesting, evidently, swimming near the dock! (Maybe it was Jaws, the famous snapping turtle, or a water snake! I didn't go see.)

I forgot how late the schools up north get out! We've been out for nearly a month.
Loved your turtle picture. That was a pretty big turtle. I've helped ones to cross the streets around here but never any that big!
LOL! over the winter and road work seasons. Seems like lately every where I go I have to dodge a maze of linemen and the ones who do the underground work (don't know what they're called).
Anyway, loving all pictures!
still two weeks to go here. Have a nice summer :)

wow ur schools end late- the schools here ended about 3 weeks ago. but we probably also start earlier too. nice place to enjoy the summer!
