Apple season
It's apple season - today we went to Ellsworth Farm in Sharon and picked Macouns (juicy!) and Cortlands - great for pies. A few more pictures of our day of apple picking here.
Such a dark red! I always miss my Dad's house at this time of the year and the apple trees I helped plant when I was about 4....fat lot of help I musdt have been! Gave great apples though, till I sdold the house exactly 9 years ago and I think the garden was converted into a car-park. And whaddya mean, over-dressed? Fred doesn't look over-dressed to me!

Hmmmm... apple pies. Oh heck, just apples are great! I had some friends with a large apple orchard, and I always associate orchards with good times!
Really wide range of beautiful colors and super composition! Truly lovely,
