It's football season. (It's also still baseball season, but I don't go into that just yet... I'll just say that I am from Detroit, originally. For my visitors who are not from the US - I'll explain soon - perhaps, say, Sunday!)

Icarus said...: Lol! Carlos beat me to it! Us Euros, to us US 'football' is not only a mystery, it's a joke. Yeah, it's been explained, yeah, UK Channel 4 hit on the idea of bringing live coverage of it for some years & it became passingly popular among a certain sub-tribe within the Yoof sports sub-culture. But we are never going to warm to it, just as this bizarre sport's aficionados will never take to REAL FOOTBALL that the rest of the world understands and is addicted to.
