Blink and you'll miss it


Intending to go to the post office and the grocery store I headed down the block, only to find about a dozen paving trucks speedily doing the entire parking lot. By that afternoon they were done and gone - you'd think they were never there! I wonder if all the workers in the stores there got the day off - Max, how about it?

Some merchants were extremely upset the lot was closed so long when I talked to them. "How dare they" they said. Can you imagine? Losing a loved one to cancer, illness, unemployment. Those are problems. Having to walk from the street for 7-8 hours, one day out of your life.....come on people! Be real!! - maxx-

But that IS the way to do it. The comparative job in Portugal? 30 zillion blinks later, you'd open your eyes, and...nothing new! Groundhog Day, dressed up as work.
As for the poor little darlings who might have had to forgo their exercise-saving cars.......no comment!
