Everyone likes the sunset

Even the cows up on Low Road. Actually I don't think they noticed - they were too busy eating. That's probably true of most of us, most of the time - we're too busy with our daily business to notice the beauty around us. That's why I love doing this blog - it makes me open my eyes.

Cette photo est magnifique, quel ciel et quelle couleur.

This photograph is splendid, which sky and which color.

Cattle? Low Road? Made me think of one thing:

Away in a manger, no crib for His bed,
The little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head;
The stars in the sky looked down where He lay,
The little Lord Jesus, asleep in the hay.

The cattle are lowing, the poor Baby wakes
But little Lord Jesus, no crying He makes.
I love thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky.
And stay by the cradle till morning is nigh.

The juxtaposition of today's photo with yesterday's is just lovely. Merry Christmas to you in Sharon.

And what did it do to your nostrils? I still remember that 'essence de vĂ¢che' de Givenchy...high on a hill in mountains on a hostile frontier, surrounded by reserve troops missing home and all of us having to deal with that fragrance from the cowshed outside the house...but that's another totally tangential story. Looks the sme though!
