On the street where you live

My Fair Lady was on TV last night - I only caught a few minutes of it and didn't get to hear that lovely tune, but it reminded me that I had one more of my pavement studies to post!

I have often walked down this street before
But the pavement always stayed beneath my feet before
All at once am I
Several stories high
Knowing I'm on the street where you live!

"And ooooh, that towering feeling, just to knoooow somehow you are near..."

Well, anyway, thanks for putting THAT tune in my head! And thanks for your nice comments yesterday. I check back here often to remember what the country looks like! :)

Yes, we're all humming away nicely now, thanks to you. On Sunday morning, I played 3 times on the go Dire Straits excellent "...and it's your face I'm lookin for, on every street". Up there among their best. Doesn't hum along well though.
And people do stop & stare.
Guess what? They don't bother me!

I've seen these sorts of pavement photographs before, and they never cease to amaze me. I can never get it right. Love yours!
