Launched

An out-of-town post: You know how you never see baby pigeons? Well I was walking down 34th street in Manhattan yesterday when something whizzed past my ear. I heard a crack, looked down, and quickly up again, to see a pigeon disappearing over a ledge about 10 feet above my head. I suppose it was nesting up there, and this was no longer needed!
