Wonderful photo!
I love this kind of dancing (to watch...too energetic for me!). I watched River Dance on TV once with Micheal Flatley...brilliant!Rx
Very beautiful catch this small which imitates the old
pretty glance
IN reality(being we did Irish dancing for years) this is a hornpipe...notice the shoes...hard..they used to be made with nails on the bottom in order to tap out a story. on h ard packed earth..Our modern tap dance is taken from this dance...made popular in the 40's. A slip jig is done with shoes that are like ballet shoes that lace up the calf and ankle...only a girls dance...the hornpipe...gender neutral! the most interesting thing about Irish dancing is the arms are held down at the sides and don't move..Try it when you dance...very hard to keep your balance....nice shot.
i guess the perfomanced was sooooo good and the lil girls loves it sooo much...
