distorted

distorted, originally uploaded by jahansell.

Everywhere you look, trees along the roadside have giant gouges carved out so they don't get tangled with the power lines. It's good for public safety but it distorts the trees' shapes pretty dramatically.

Those are not the work of aborists but we call them tree butchers. Imagine how the tree feels?

Your fall leaf color looks more advanced than here but then this is supposed to be the best weekend for looking here. And frost is expected on Monday.

I am thankful that I live on the other side of the street.

After a few hurricane you don't worry so much about tree butchers. Every summer I trim many of my own trees. Sometimes for a better crop of mangoes. Some times to keep them from falling on our house during a hurricane. My perspective is from true needs.
