The True Meaning of The Season

cookie time, originally uploaded by jahansell.

Is COOKIES! How many cookies have you eaten yet? How many have you baked? How hard will it be for me to fit into any of my clothes by the time January 1 rolls around? (and I do mean ROLLS!)

I've already baked my special chocolate chip / cranberry / oatmeal recipe (available upon request) for three different events, and it's only December 3!

Hats off to you, Jenny. However hard I try, I find making cookies a dismal failure. This picture makes me very envious.

I have baked ZERO cookies so far. But, I have made pumkin bread twice and a pumpkin pie once!

I didn't realise that this was an American tradition at this time of year.

We bake Christmas Cakes.

do Clif bars count? They taste like cookies.

I had some little Dutch Christmassy spice cookies
called Kruid nootjes.

I plan to bake Gingerbread Berts (Sesame St)
and maybe buy some black and white cookies.

This is a very pretty picture.

Two sweet pictures you have there Jenny, although with varying calorie counts! Really though, nice pictures that capture the spirit of wonder that children get to enjoy this time of year.
Thanks,
Wayne
