Garden Gate

It's been rainy lately - lots of turbulent thunderstorms, drenching downpours, and then in between, a day or two of sun. Today is gloomy, though - and humid. Everything is green, lush, buggy - a typical late July in Connecticut. (I'll never forget my first isit here, 11 summers ago - the clouds of gnats around my head prompted our hostess to teach us the "Connecticut wave."
