Soft colors
This time of year, it's all about the soft grays and greens, punctuated by the bright blooms of the spring-flowering bulbs. I'm interested in exploring some new aesthetics in my photography - less about sharpness and contrast and more about mood and subtlety.

Looks like you're off to a good start. You definitely captured the mood in this photo.
Cool direction to take. Celine of Stayton Daily Photo has been coming up with some amazing mood/atmosphere shots. When I finally learn to use my camera I hope to go off in that direction. Virginia posted a B&W shot of a chair, guitar, and patterned carpet that made me realize I want to work on B&W and depth of field for awhile. I guess it's good to explore in one direction for awhile. Lovely photo today.
