A few years ago, in early summer 2006 (very early days for this blog) I took a similar shot of this field after a different sort of extreme weather conditions. Someone really likes to ride up and down across it! Whose fields are these? I think I (don't) know...

Those fields I do believe are owned by Mr. Otto Von Ahn. He is one of Sharon's last remaining operating farms. Obviously he spread the days worth of manure in this photo.(tends to stand out against white snow) :)
Interesting contrast.
I"ve enjoyed looking at your photographs. You live in a beautiful place and you've captured it so well.
